I am glad that it wasn’t so hard to find these postcards, and they were not expensive. Every time, I travel with my one and only, the thing I always ask him first is to go to the souvenir’s shops just to buy postcards:) And I’m happy that he never complains, although his been wondering why I collect so many post cards  lately, Lol!

Oh my gulay! It’s been ages since the last time I updated this humble blog of mine. Don’t get me wrong I really did not forget this blog. It’s just that I am more occupied to my paid post plus the fact that I have a full job, It takes up almost all my time. By the time I get home I don’t have so much energy to check my blogs. I know this is a lame reason, but I am trying the best as I can to do my online obligation when I’m home. But I really get so lazy to do anything when I am not work. How I wish to experience again when I don’t have to get up early in the morning just to go to work. Although I am lucky and thankful for all the good things that happen to my life right now, even though it is so hard and tiring. Well at least I get to travel and see other places that I haven’t seen before. Speaking of travel, I should get some rest now since I have so much things to catch up tomorrow. Ciao for now fellas! My friend Hazel sent me this postcard last November 3 2009. I was very surprised when I got this from the mail. So sweet of her to remember me while she’s on her vacation with her hubby in the big Island of Hawaii!! Waimea has a lot to offer: beautiful beaches, tropical breezes, warm people. This Island offers many wide open spaces with ever changing climates and views. I really wish that one day I can afford to visit this place. This is the very first postcard I received from a friend. Thank You So Much Hazie for this beautiful postcard.

Waimea (also known as Kamuela – to distinguish itself from a town with the same name located on Kauai) is located in the cooler mountainous area of the Big Island, although only a short distance from the Kohala Coast and its magnificent beaches. At 2,500 feet above sea level, the fenced pastures, clear skies, cool air, and grazing cattle and horses offer a country-like charm. Waimea, centrally located at the northern part of the Island, is a 45 minute drive from the Kona- Keahole Airport, or an hour and fifteen minute drive from Hilo. The town sits amongst grassy hills at 2,600 feet and is noticeably cooler than the coast with afternoon mist closing in around the hills but surprisingly little rain.

Did you notice the header of this blog? From the Title Friendly Talk I had a hard time updating this blog, especially that I have other blogs that also needed my attention daily!:) I come to a conclusion to make this blog a Traveler’s Postcards where I can post and show off all the postcards that I collected from friends. I have few of them already and I haven’t got the chance to post them since I didn’t want to mix them to my other blog. Hopefully from now on I’ll be able to update this blog and of course with the help of my friends by sending me lots of postcards hehehe!

It’s midnight here in NY already and I’m still wide awake. No matter how I clear my mind and shut my eyes off I am still wide awake. I also took Advil PM just to help me get to sleep but I just can’t!!! I’m so annoyed because I have to wake up early for work tomorrow. I guess I might have to call in sick. So instead of forcing myself to sleep I just turned on my computer and make myself useful until I feel sleepy.

In two Months it’s going to be my boyfriend’s birthday.I since I couldn’t sleep, might as well search online for unique gifts ideas. He is a very easy to please with and I know he appreciates everything I gave him. My man really loves all kinds of sports, in fact he collects different types of sports stuff. And I know even if I give him a soccer gifts basket with different items on it that will be useful to him, like socks his favorite team’s jersey and hat with the team’s logo and probably I will include tickets for the game of his favorite team. I’m sure he would love it.

My boyfriend has been complaining about his dark circle. He don’t know why he can’t get rid of it even though he do his best to go to bed early just to avoid getting dark circles. He will sometimes used a cold compress with ice but it’s not doing any good. He has been asking himself whats the cause and why his having this kind of problem. I told him that maybe he needs a proper treatment for it. I promised him that I am also going to buy him a dark circle eye cream and hopefully it will work.

- My Latest Cellphone screen saver. I got used to being with my boyfriend for 5 days during our vacation and so I thought to use this picture as my screen-saver because I’m missing him…mushy mushy anoni eh! Lol! This picture was taken when my boyfriend and I went to a dinner date in an Italian Restaurant in Boston.

- Yes I do have a few nicknames. During my school days, my Classmates calls me Marvz, short for Marvie which is my real name. My cousins, Family and Friends calls me Ivz or Ivy and my mother calls me Ai if she’s not mad Lol!

8. Who is your No.1?
- A beautiful woman who become my bestfriend here in the US. We use to talked a lot on the phone when I was living in Louisiana. I’ve only meet her trice but it feels like we have known each others for life. Although before I know her she always saw me in the internet cafe where I used to go to chat my late husband. We go to the same internet cafe but we’ve become friends here in the USA. So I believe were destined to be friends:)
